The International Youth Contest of scientific hypotheses and fantastic ideas
The main goal of the project is to motivate thoughtful youth from different countries with an active lifestyle to "switch on" their intellect and carry out a creative search for scientific ideas, hypotheses, sci-fi ideas about the distant future

About the Contest
Reception of scientific and creative works until March 31, 2019 inclusive
1. Who can participate?
Young people from any countries, all nationalities, ethnic groups and nations are invited to present their vision of the future in 2100: – to conduct research and form scientific hypotheses in the field of forecasting the future of the planet and humanity at the turn of 2100 and the prospects for the development of its various scenarios or
to generate a sci-fi idea of the distant future, fantasy events, phenomena and processes at the turn of the year 2100, describe them in a literary work and find a scientific, rather than topical, explanation for them

2. How to participate?
To participate in the competition, you need to prepare and send us a scientific article / study or a science fiction work (story, essay) in which you present your general vision of our future in 2100 or choose a specific direction from those presented below that you want to analyze more deeply
3. Recommendations on the procedure for submitting scientific and creative works to the Competition:
The package of documents submitted for the competition should include: application form of the participant of the competition with indication of the direction of the competition, nomination, information about the author and supervisor (if any), scientific or creative work
4. Recommendations for the design of creative works
Creative works – sci-fi stories, essays – are provided in the form of MS Word files in .doc or .docx formats. The volume of your work should be no less than 5000 and no more than 36,000 characters, including spaces, works of a larger volume are rejected. Your work may be in English or Russian

5. Recommendations on the structure and content of creative work
Creative work includes the following sections:
title page, which indicates only the title of the work (without specifying information about the author and the place of study or work);
the introductory part – the preface, the address of the author, from the author, prologue, etc., in which the author addresses the reader, reports a few words about himself and what goals were set when writing the work, describes the history of its creation and some features, which he encountered during his work, stresses the reaction he expects from readers;
the main part is the text of the work itself – an essay written in the science fiction genre about the future of the planet and humanity at the turn of the year 2100. Purely realistic works, without a science fiction component, will not be accepted.
the final part – afterword, epilogue, postscript, etc. (at the discretion of the author) presents brief conclusions, or the author's own vision of the work and the idea of the science fiction themes and aspects covered in it, which, in the author's opinion, cannot be included in the main part of the work.
